Whatever task you find to do,
Regardless if it’s big or small,
Perform it well, with all your heart,
Because there’s One who sees it all.
No matter who your boss is, you are really working for God

Suddenly a song passed by in my mind. Dancing in The Moonlight, that is the title of that song. In my opinion this song shouts about peace. Most of people dream about living in peace and love, but at the other side we still hear about blasting, robbery, murdering, and suicide. Please don’t color this world with blood. Lets color this world with love and peace.
We get it on most every night
when that moon is big and bright
its a supernatural delight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight
we get
everybody here is out of sight
they dont bark and they dont bite
they keep things loose they keep it tight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight
dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight
we like our fun and we never fight
you cant dance and stay uptight
its a supernatural delight
everybody was dancing in the moonlight
dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight
we get in on most every night
and when that moon is big and bright
its a supernatural delight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight
dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

Suddenly I shocked out to a man that I met at a junction last morning. I didn’t realize that he is limbless before he passed by my car. He can walk by a pair of stick which help him footing on. In Indonesia there is no enough attention for disabled-people. I wish I can do something.

They are between 7 to 15 years old. They sing at junction with a cheap ukulele, try to beg our sympathy just for a small of money to buy some cheap food. They are still young. They face violence at street without option to be chosen and also many of them can’t pay for school. They just know how to survive from the hard life of street.
Often we see them at the junction. Their presence become common and sometimes many people feel disturbed by their presence. Regrettably, many people don’t care to them. Many people don’t care how they sleep tonight, what they eat every day, what they do if they got a cold or a fever, what they do if they are sad, what they do if they feel lonely, what they feel if nobody don’t care to them. In the other places, there are many kids in the same age with them play happily at their school and never afraid what will they eat for their dinner. What are the differences of them? Why they have different condition?
If nobody cares about their presence, they will be shaped by negative influence of street life. They don’t know about education and knowledge. They don’t know how to motivate their self to be success. They don’t know how to change their life to be something. They are young generation and the future of the country is determined by its young generation.
Obviously, God also loves them. There are a community o
f volunteer who spent their time, fund, and attention to help these kids. This community gives these kids a good education by coordinating many small study groups at several areas in Jakarta to teach them about reading, writing, and counting. They try to be their friend. The volunteers try to make a good relationship and motivate them to feel a better life. They call their community as “Sahabat Anak”. For further information you can browse at http://www.sahabatanak.com/SA_English/home_english.htm . The kids need us as their friend. They are precious. They are eager to share to you about the happiness of being loved. Because of love they can smile. Wish you have a lovely life.
